Yib Kunkel, 37, of State College, died Monday, February 25, 2013, at his home that he shared with his sister, Tricia Kunkel and his Mother, Patricia Moyer, both of whom survive him. Born March 27, 1975, in State College, he is also survived by his sister, Amanda Kunkel of State College and his Father, Wilbert Kunkel of Ventura, Ca., one nephew, Dillon M. Kunkel and three great-nephews also from State College and Boalsburg. Yib was a 1996 graduate of State College Area High School and was a member of the first autistic support class in the State College School District. He enjoyed the airport, people, motor cycles, fire trucks, and videos of anything with wheels. His favorite place was at his sister Tricia’s, in his recliner, watching tv. Tricia cared for him for the past 15 years. Visitation will be 6 until 8 p.m., Friday, March 15, 2013, at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 South Atherton Street, State College. Memorial service will be 1 p.m., Saturday, March 16, 2013, at the funeral home with the Rev. Edwin Zeiders officiating.
