Jeanne Hunter Paris

Jeanne Hunter Paris, 66, of Milroy, formerly of Lemont, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2013, Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College.

Born September 11, 1946, in Williamsport, She was the daughter of the late Cyrus Hunter Sr. and Lois Barnard Hunter, who survives in Milroy. On November 17, 1990 in Pleasant Gap, she married John C. Paris, who survives.

She is also survived by a son, Chris Dobson and his wife, Karen, of Spring Mills, a step-daughter, Susan Fisher and her companion, William O’Brien, of Hummelstown, three grandchildren, Paige Dobson, of Spring Mills, Dustin Fisher and his wife, Natisha, of Green Grove, Kristin Fisher, of Hummelstown, two sisters, Joyce Hunter, of Phoenix, AZ, Jannette Lohr, of Howard, two brothers, James Hunter and his companion, Nancy Strayer, Cyrus Hunter Jr. and his wife, Belinda, both of State College and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter Sandy.

She was a 1964 graduate of State College High School. Jeanne and her husband, John moved to Lancaster and for years owned and operated the Drift Inn Tavern. Upon retirement they returned to Central PA, settling in Milroy

Her kindness and love of family will always be remembered. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton St., State College.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 8, 2013 at the funeral home with Pastor Bo King officiating.

Burial will be in Grays Cemetery, Stormstown at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions may be made to Centre County Breast Cancer Coalition, P.O. Box 344, Boalsburg, PA 16827.
