Obituary of Adrena N. Gibboney

Adrena N. Gibboney, 75, of State College, died Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at her residence. Born February 20, 1941 in Mount Union, she was the daughter of the late Joseph H. and Winifred Stewart Miller. She married Frank B. Gibboney on September 2, 1960, who survives at home. She is survived by a daughter, Traci L. Evans and her husband, Chet, of Bellefonte; Adrena was a 1959 graduate of Huntingdon High School. She retired after 25 years as the Head Cook at Jackson-Miller Elementary School, McAlevey's Fort. She was a member of the McAlevey's Fort Presbyterian Church and the Eastern Star. She enjoyed sewing, crafts and baking. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 27, 2016 at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton Street, State College. Another visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., one hour prior to the service on Saturday, May 28, 2016. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at McAleveys' Fort Presbyterian Church, Rr 2 Huntingdon, with Pastor J. Daniel Morris officiating.
