Obituary of Timothy Frank Tressler

Timothy Frank Tressler, 60, of Port Matilda, died Monday, December 26, 2016, at Juniper Village at Brookline, State College. Born December 5, 1956, in Bellefonte, he was the son of the late Frank J. and Ruth M. Bohn Tressler. In addition to his mother, Tim is survived by his son, Andrew T. Tressler and his wife, Christina, of Port Matilda; four grandchildren, Landon, Carter, Austin, and Brooklyn Tressler; and four sisters, Donna L. Tressler of State College, Lucinda Becker and her husband, Robert, of Seneca, SC, Cheryl Meyer and her husband, Dennis, of State College, and Jeanne Siegenthaler and her husband, Robert, of State College. Tim graduated from State College High School in 1975. He was a heavy equipment operator for his own company, Tressler and Fedor Excavating, established in 1984. He was preceded in death by his beloved boxers, Duke and Chloe, who accompanied him to work and greeted clients. Tim was a member of the F.&A.M. State College Lodge No. 700 and Central Pennsylvania Home Builders Association. He was a life member of the Alpha Fire Company. Tim enjoyed cycling locally and Caribbean Cruises. Visitation will be 5p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, December 30, 2016 at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton St., State College, with K. R. Mele officiating. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton St., State College, PA with K. R. Mele officiating. A private burial will be in Williams Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Koch Funeral Home, State College.
