Obituary of Timothy K. Kunes

August 21, 1946 – July 26, 2017

Timothy Kunes, 70, of Keewaydin past away at Juniper Village in State College, July 26, 2017.

Mr. Kunes was born in Philipsburg, PA, a son of the late Wayne E.and Dorothy Moss Kunes.

He was a graduate of Clearfield High School and Williamsport Community College.

For more than 40 years, he was owner and operator of Kunes Apple Farm in Keewaydin.

He was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Karthaus.

Mr. Kunes was preceded in death by his two parents. He is survived by two children, Michelle Kunes of Philipsburg, and Barbara Kunes of Williamsport. Also survivng are his Fiance Sandy Plubell of Frenchville and her granddaughter Skylar, who held a very special place in his heart. One sister, C. Dianne Sierer, and her husband Edward of Austin, Texas, as well as his brother Curtis Kunes and his wife Jackie of State College.

Funeral services will be held at the Shepherd of Hills Lutheran Church 3637 Main Street, Karthaus, PA, with Pastor Vicki Beilfuss officiating, July 29, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. Internment will be in Keewaydin Cemetery following the service 862 Keewaydin Road, Frenchville, PA 16836.
