Obituary of Margaret Wrigley

Margaret Ann Bodnar Wrigley, 86, of Belleville, formerly of State College, died Monday, October 25, 2010, at Valley View Haven. Born February 15, 1924, in Munhall, she was a daughter of the late Anton and Anne Senko Bodnar. On June 9, 1947, she married John Daniel Wrigley, who died October 18, 2008. She is survived by two children, John D. Wrigley and his wife, Gail, of Keene, N.H., and Nancy J. Wrigley and her partner, Tony Moodie, of West Lebanon, N.H.; three grandchildren, Kate Beverage, Anne Collins, and Tom Wrigley; one great-grandson Tyler Beverage; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers, Anthony Durkey, Joseph, Tom and Frank Bodnar, and three sisters, Ann Micklusko, Helen Page, and Mary Lou Zimmer. She was the last of her generation. She was a graduate of Munhall High School. She was a secretary for U.S. Steel from 1942 to 1951. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Belleville and was active in church affairs. She enjoyed playing golf and was an avid bridge player. A graveside service will be held on Friday, Nov. 12, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Pine Hall Cemetery in State College. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
