Obituary of Patsy Kello

Patsy Ann Kello, a long-time resident of State College, died Wednesday the 24th of November at her home. She was 79. Born in Townsend, Montana on November 1, 1931, Mrs. Kello was one of four children of Vinnie and James Robinson. She graduated from Butte High School, Montana. On October 2, 1954, she married John Marcus Kello, her husband of 56 years. Mrs. Kello worked as an administrative assistant before devoting her life to her family, moving east from Montana and Washington to New Hampshire, New York and Pennsylvania. She found joy in nature through daily walks in the woods and gardening, and enjoyed the performing arts, particularly music. In addition to her husband, she is survived by sisters, Betty Tinsley, Billie Ambrozic and Dorothy Patrick; children, Katherine Driscoll, Nicholas Kello, James Kello and Teresa Garti; and grandchildren, Maureen, Caitlin, Matthew and Danika. Friends will be received at Koch Funeral home on Monday, November 29, 2010 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be at Our Lady of Victory Church in State College at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 30, 2010. Those wishing to remember Mrs. Kello with a donation are invited to contribute to the State College Area Food Bank, 276 West Hamilton Avenue, State College PA 16801.
