Dillon Kunkel

Obituary of Dillon Matthew Kunkel

Dillon M. Kunkel, 24, of State College, died Sunday, March 8, 2015, at his home that he shared with his partner of six years, Michelle Milligan. Born August 22, 1990, in State College, he is survived by his mother, Tricia Felts (Kunkel), his children, Jeremy, Gage, and Silas, his aunt, Amanda Kunkel, his grandmother Patricia Moyer, all of State College and his grandfather, Wilbert Kunkel, of Sunbury, PA. Knowing Dillon, a traditional recounting of his hobbies and passions would not be befitting. He lived his life on his own terms and by his own rules. He did exactly what he wanted to do. He was kind, caring beyond measure and will be fiercely missed. “Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward. Whoever cannot take care of himself without that law is both. For a wounded man shall say to his assailant, ‘If I live, I’ll kill you. If I die, you are forgiven.’ Such is the rule of honor.” Omerta by Lamb of God Visitation will be at 12 until 2 p.m., on Saturday, March 14, 2015, at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 South Atherton Street, State College. A wake in his memory will be held at 7 p.m. at Sharkies, 110 Sowers Street, State College, PA 16801. In lieu of flowers and cards, contributions may be made to Tricia Felts, 362 E Irvin Ave, State College, PA 16801 to support Dillon’s children. Arrangements are under the care of Koch Funeral Home, State College. Online condolences and signing of the guest book may be entered at www.kochfuneralhome.com or visit us on Facebook.
