Breanne Radin Yeckley grew up in a small town near Ithaca, New York, on a hobby farm with her parents, three sisters, and lots of animals.
Breanne knew she wanted to be a funeral director at a young age after attending the arrangements and funeral of her grandfather. Following this experience, she decided she wanted to help others through their loss of a loved one.
Breanne attended and graduated from Spencer Van-Etten High School as a Mark Twain Scholar and played soccer and ran track while she was there.
After high school, Breanne attended Gannon University in Erie, and continued playing soccer for their women's soccer team. She graduated from Gannon with a Bachelor of Science Degree, Magna Cum Laude after completing their mortuary science program. Breanne attended and graduated from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science with an Associate Degree in Specialized Technology in Funeral Service Arts and Sciences.
She completed her internship at Bowen Funeral Homes in Towanda, Pennsylvania. Upon graduation, she continued her career there for another two years. Breanne and her husband, David, married in October of 2012. She joined the staff at Koch Funeral Home in April of 2014 after moving to State College with her husband and their cat, Zazu. Their family now includes an adopted dog, Remington. Breanne enjoys running, hiking, animals, and spending time with her family and friends.
