Live, Love, Learn and Leave a Legacy

Stephen Covey once said, “There are four needs in all people: to live, to love, to learn, to leave a legacy.” In this series, we will learn about and explore these four needs while preplanning what we can for our own deaths.

In this series, we will be sharing information about preparing for death while also living fully now.

The class topics will be:

Week 1, LIVE – September 13, 2018

With death as a reminder of the importance of making the most of life, how do you want to LIVE now? Do you want to live more lightly? Do you want to simplify and/or downsize?

Week 2, LOVE – September 20, 2018

When you think about your own death, how do you want to care for those you LOVE after you're gone? Are there certain things you would encourage your loved ones to do? Are there financial pieces you need to put in place now?

Week 3, LEARN – September 27, 2018

What do you still need to LEARN about estate planning? Are there items you can attend to now?

Week 4, LEAVE – October 4, 2018

If circumstances allow, are there certain ways you would like to be cared for as you LEAVE this world? Given the choice, are there specific medical interventions you do or do not want to have?

Week 5, LEGACY – October 11, 2018

Upon your death, how do you want your LEGACY to begin? What are the options for the care and disposition of your body? Why would you choose one option over another? How do you want to be remembered and your life honored?
