Sandee was born in Alexandria, Pennsylvania. She married Robert J.E. Hemman II, whom is now deceased. The two of them moved to Pine Grove Mills, Pennsylvania, where Sandee has resided for the last 20 years.
Sandee retired in 2007 after 35 years of working at Penn State University. In her last position she was an administrative assistant to the Project Coordinator Office for the College of Health and Human Development Department. She joined Koch Funeral Home in 2010 as a part-time member of the administrative support team. She currently works part time at the local grocery store where she enjoys meeting people in her community.
She has served on many different committees and sings in the church choir at St. Paul Lutheran Church where she is a member. Sandee’s hobbies include spending time with her furry cat companions, listening to music and doing needlepoint and cross stitch. She enjoys making gifts for the special people in her life.
