November is ...
Have the Talk of a Lifetime!
The Funeral and Memorial Information Council created “Time for Family, Time for Talk” to encourage families to Have the Talk of a Lifetime – to engage in meaningful conversations reflecting on the past and planning for the future. This month we are bringing the “Time for Family, Time for Talk” campaign to our community
For various cultures, this time of year includes many opportunities to remember, honor, reminisce, share and express gratitude – beginning the end of October with Hallows’ Eve, Halloween, All Saints’ Day, All Souls’ Day and Dia de los Muertos, throughout the month of November with Veterans Day, World Kindness Day, Thanksgiving, National Day of Listening and National Day of Giving.
Holidays are the perfect time to celebrate and Have the Talk of a Lifetime with your loved ones. As families and friends gather in November, take the time to create a special family event and begin a new tradition, one that matters most.
Need help getting started? It’s easy. Choose one of the days below, gather your family and friends, print the holiday guide and begin sharing those meaningful stories. Be creative, have fun and make it memorable. Stories heal and memories last a life time.
