We are now officially in summer!  Summer is a season of fullness, light, productivity and playfulness.  It can also be a time of diminished energy due to heat.  One of the ways we can take care of ourselves is to honor the seasons of our life just as we participate in the seasons of nature.  I invite you to pay attention and look for a healthy balance in your summer – in what ways do you want to be productive and in what ways do you want to rest?  If you’re grieving the loss of a loved one, you might be noticing the desire to heal more fully and to do what you can to move in that direction.  Or you might be noticing an interest in the “lazy time” of summer this year.  Grieve in your own way.
