This Sunday is Father’s Day, a day that can hold both light and dark emotions. If you’ve lost your father, how do you take care of yourself and remember your dad at the same time? You can take care of yourself by talking and/or journaling about your feelings. You can also write your dad a letter to share what you never said or want to say now; it’s important to allow your grief. It is also important to honor your father’s memory in a way that is meaningful to you – you can look at pictures, create a video, make his favorite food, participate in an activity he enjoyed and/or visit his gravesite. The options are endless. I’d love to hear about what you choose to do!
