This month our theme is “Mustering Courage in Loss.” This is a very appropriate theme as we honor the 20th anniversary of 9-11. Koch Funeral Home was working with Alpha Fire Company to hold a Remembrance Ceremony but because of the COVID situation in our community, we had to cancel.  As a statement from F. Glenn Fleming, Supervisor and Funeral director of Koch Funeral Home, and Shawn Kauffman, president of Alpha Fire Company, said, “We believe in the importance of remembering those who lost their lives that day and encourage you to honor them in your own way - with a bell, a candle, a thought, a prayer, or any way that is meaningful to you.”
