Obituary of Shane A. McGhee

Shane Alan McGhee, 44, of Chambersburg, PA, formally of Petersburg, PA, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on February 22, 2018. Born January 18, 1974 in Centre County, he was the son of Mary A. (Kerstetter) McGhee, Petersburg, PA and the late Donald W. McGhee. He was the loving husband of Brandi J (Cook) McGhee, whom he married on September 9, 2017. He was the father of Rob McGhee (wife Ashley), and Justin McGhee. Shane owned and operated S&M Custom Painting. He was an avid Fisherman, Hunter and a very passionate Ohio State Buckeye Fan. In addition to his Wife, Children and Parents, he is survived by his sister, Kim Magda (Fiancé Jared) and her children. His brother, Ray McGhee (wife Rhonda) and his children. Shane is also survived by his Mother and Father-in-Law Garry L and Jean A Cook, Chambersburg, PA. A Brother-in-law, Rodney Cook (wife Elizabeth), and children, Spring Arbor Michigan. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 2, 2018 at 1pm, at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 South Atherton Street, State College, PA 16801, with Chester Marshall officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. After the service friends, and family will be welcomed by the family for a luncheon at State College Alliance Church, 1221 West Whitehall Road, State College, PA 16801 In Lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to SPE Federal Credit Union, C/O Kim Magda,Memo: Memorial Fund, 650 Science Park Road, State College, PA 16803.
