Obituary of Luke Adam Stashak

Luke Stashak, 22, of State College, died on March 30, 2018 at home. He was born on October 23, 1995 in Media, the son of Karl Stashak and Suzanne Reynolds. He attended State College schools and graduated from State College High School in 2015, where he received honor roll every semester. He attended the LifeLink program at Penn State University in 2017. Luke was employed in the kitchen at Champs in downtown State College. Prior to that, he worked at the Waffle Shop for six years. His interests included family, photography, fishing, rapping and writing poetry and lyrics.

Luke is survived by his parents, Karl Stashak and Suzanne Reynolds; Aunt, Barbara Hamilton and husband, Mike Galasso. Uncles, Eric Stashak; James Reynolds and wife, Sheila, Mark King. Cousins, Andrea Nicholson, Tom Reynolds, Jennifer Reynolds, Brian Reynolds and Emily Reynolds. Luke was preceded in death by grandparents; Fred and Rita Stashak and Adelbert and Doris Reynolds as well as aunt, Karen King and uncle, Thomas Reynolds.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m., on Saturday, April 7, 2017 at Stepping Stones Community Church, 848 Science Park Road, State College. A memorial service will follow at 12 p.m., at the church, with the Senior Pastor Dave Michel officiating.

Burial will be in Boalsburg Cemetery.
