Born July 1, 1922, in Oak Hall, growing up on the family farmstead, she was the daughter of the late Elmer Stuart and Florence Kline Lowder. On August 6, 1947, she married Richard Ashley Humphreys, who preceded her in death in July of 1971.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by an infant brother.

Anna Mary was a graduate of State College High School. She was employed as a secretary at Penn State University in the Ag Administration Building until her retirement.

She was a lifetime member of the Spring Creek Presbyterian Church. She was also a 75 year member of the Victor Grange, she was a past matron and 50 year member of the Eastern Star and a member of the Boalsburg Garden Club.
