Obituary of Genevieve Ann Holliday

Genevieve Ann Holliday, 84, of Boalsburg, died Tuesday, January 1, 2019, at Mount Nittany Medical Center. Born January 30, 1934 in Nanty Glo, she was a daughter of the late John and Anna Seroka Kachik. On November 16, 1957, in Portage, she married Leonard L. Holliday, who survives. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Pamela Ann and her husband, Timothy L. Hower, of Centennial, CO, Terri Lynn and her husband, Lawrence J. Deliman, of Centennial, CO, Sharon Marie of Boalsburg, and one son, Jeffrey John and his partner, Christine Lynn Hopkins, of Aurora, CO; four grandchildren, Kylie Alm (Alex), Nathan Deliman, Corry Hawkins (Ryan) and Hannah Holliday; one great-granddaughter, Katherine Genevieve Alm; two brothers, Joseph Kachik, married to the former Margaret Columbus, of Twin Rocks and Andrew Kachik, married to the former Patricia Archambault, of Waynesboro. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Francis Kachik. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m., on Saturday, January 26, 2019, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 820 Westerly Parkway, State College, with Father Antony Sudherson officiating. Burial will be in the Boalsburg Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will follow from 3 until 5 p.m. at the Mountain View Country Club, 310 Elks Club Road, Boalsburg.
