Obituary of Mark E. Hoover

Mark Eber Hoover was born December 4, 1941, in Pleasant Hill, Ohio, and died December 30, 2018, at 6:40 a.m., at the Mount Nittany Hospital in State College, PA. Mark was one of four children of father, Clarence Hoover, and mother, Josephine (Welty) Hoover, both predeceased. Mark's two sisters, Rhoda Harter, and Isabelle Hoover, both predeceased him. Remaining is one brother, Amos Hoover, and his wife Jean Hoover of Oshawa, Ontario, and three nieces (Rhoda's), and two nephews (Amos's). Mark lived in Pennsylvania since 2006, and had been a member of the House of Care family in State College, since 2008. A memorial service will be held at the University Mennonite Church, State College, on January 26, 10:30 a.m. A luncheon will follow. Burial will be at the Highland Cemetery in West Milton, Ohio. The family requests that memorials be directed to the House of Care, 515 W. Beaver Avenue, State College, PA 16801. Arrangements are under the care of Koch Funeral Home, State College.
