Obituary of Jacqueline T. Reich

Jacqueline T. Reich, 90, who lived in State College, Pa., passed away at home on December 21st, 2018 surrounded by loved ones.

Jacqueline was born December 5th, 1928 in Lebanon, Pa. Her husband Richard, parents Twila and Paul preceded her in death as did her sister Leahnor and brother Paul. Surviving are her brother Lewis, and her four children: T. Susan Fetterman, Sharon L. Peacock, Nadine L. Grissinger, and Charles R. Reich. Jacqueline had three grand-children, one great grand-son, 2 step grand-daughters, and one step great grand-son.

Jackie married Dick on October 15, 1949 in Lebanon, Pa. They moved around a bit before settling in State College and to raise a family. Although Jackie had many jobs throughout her life, she was first and foremost a mother and grandmother. She loved watching PBS British comedies and dramas with one of her kitties by her side. Other things she loved in life were flower gardening, dancing, cooking, sewing, playing bridge, watching babies, and entertaining with her dinner club.

Years ago, Jackie was very active at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in State College. She worked in the gift shop, helped with the geranium flower sale, helped the treasurer, assisted with meal functions at times and many other activities.

Jackie will have a Memorial service given by the Reverend Jeffrey Packard, Rector on Saturday February 9th, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the main chapel at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 208 W. Foster Ave., State College, Pa.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to North Shore Animal League, www.animalleague.org or the American Indian College Fund, collegefund.org , two areas of charity interest important to Jackie.
