Obituary of Lillian A. Brewer

Lillian A. Brewer, 96, of State College, died Sunday, January 3, 2021, at Juniper Village at Brookline.

Born February 17, 1924, in Peckville, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Julia Ritzco Krohto. On December 14, 1968, she married Thomas A. Brewer, who preceded her in death in 2008.

She is survived by three children, William J. Morgan of Ithaca, NY, Gerald T. Brewer of Estero, FL, Vicky Brewer of Foley, AL; a daughter in-law, Sandra Morgan of Owings, MD; two sisters, Mary Appleton and her husband, Bernard, of Clemmons, NC, Peggy Skiver and her husband, Mel, of Beaverton, OR; four grandchildren, Matthew Brewer, William Morgan, Nicole McCloskey and Jeffrey Morgan; seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Thomas M. Morgan on July 8, 2020 and three siblings, Pauline Wasilchak, William Krohto and Jack Krohto.

Lillian graduated from Blakely High School in Peckville, PA.

She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church.

Lillian was an avid reader and a diehard Republican who loved politics. Prior to her time at Juniper Village, she spent her winters in Foley, AL.

Memorial service will be at 12 p.m., on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 South Atherton Street, State College, with Father Jonathan Dickson officiating. A visitation will follow at the funeral home from 1 until 3 p.m.

Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery, Candor, NY.
