Obituary of Nancy C. Horner

Nancy C. (Addleman) Horner, 73, of Bellefonte, formerly of Boalsburg and Centre Hall, died Sunday, February 21, 2021, at Geisinger Medical Center.

Born August 5, 1947, in Bellefonte, she was the daughter of the late James and Eleanor (Casselberry) Addleman.

She is survived by three children, Larry M. Horner, Jr. and his wife Cindy M. of Bellefonte, David K. Horner and his wife Jaimy of Aaronsburg, and John E. Horner and his wife Leanne of York; two sisters, Susan Renaud of Bellefonte, and Mitzi Lennartz and her husband Frank of Bloomsburg; seven grandsons; Matthew, Alexander, Harrison, Ryan, Wyatt, Jackson and Jace; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three siblings, E. Roxie Strickland, James Addleman, and Terry Addleman.

Nancy graduated from State College High School in 1965. She was as a seamstress and craftsperson. She was a self-employed shop owner of A to Z Crafts (& Nancy's Creations) in Centre Hall. She also worked for PSU, Ben Franklin Crafts, and JOANN Fabrics and Crafts in State College.

Nancy was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Boalsburg and Vice President and Secretary of WELCA. She loved going to the Grange Fair and having craft shows and was an early pioneer of the Centre Hall town-wide yardsale.

A visitation and funeral service at Zion Lutheran Church in Boalsburg will be determined at a later date.

Burial will be in Boalsburg Cemetery.
