Obituary of Jane H. Wheeland

Jane H. Wheeland, 85, of Pennsylvania Fiurnace, died Thursday, June 10, 2021, at Juniper Village At Brookline.

Born December 8, 1935, in Bellefonte, she was the daughter of the late Eldon and Grace Keller Harpster. On October 8, 1955 she married George D. Wheeland, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by three children, Denny Wheeland and his wife Linda of Port Matilda, Sue Jones and her husband Jim of Pleasant Gap and Sherri Letterman and her husband Dave of State College; six grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Fred Harpster and twin great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10 until 11 a.m., on Monday, June 14, 2021 at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton Street, State College. Memorial service will follow at 11 a.m., at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Pine Grove Mills Cemetery.
