Obituary of Elizabeth Anne Biddle

Elizabeth “Lizzy” Anne Biddle, 20, of Boalsburg, passed away Wednesday, August 4th, 2021. Born on May 8th, 2001 in State College, PA she was the daughter of Charles W. Biddle and the late Julie Lynn (Darnell) Biddle and twin sister of Abigail “Abby” Lynn Biddle. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her mother Julie Lynn Biddle in 2008.

Elizabeth graduated from State College High School in 2019 and was a junior at Penn State pursuing a degree in Communications. She was employed at the Hublersburg Inn as a hostess and server.

Elizabeth was a beautiful soul who planned to “travel the world”. She enjoyed many things in life including: hiking, painting, sunflowers, mac ‘n’ cheese, music concerts, Christmas tree hunting, being at the beach, lake or anywhere outdoors. Above all she truly enjoyed spending time with her friends. Lizzy will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

Elizabeth is survived by her step mother Adrienne Heidt, step sister Drew Nixdorf, step brothers Dakota Nixdorf and Finn Nixdorf. Also surviving are her grandparents, Dorcas Biddle, of Altoona, and Deb and Richard Darnell, of Altoona; her aunts and uncles, Jennifer (Darnell) and Jay Davis, of Fort Myers, FL, Paula (Biddle) and David Morrissey of Tyrone, and Gale Biddle of Altoona; and numerous cousins. In addition to her mother, she was predeceased by her grandfather, Galen W. Biddle.

A celebration of life will be held Thursday August 12th, 2021 at Harpster’s Cottage and covered bridge at 5652 Covered Bridge Rd, Spruce Creek, PA 16683 ( .5 miles west of Seven Stars on route 45 ). Visitation at 4:00 with service at 5:30.

If you have any photos of Lizzy, the family would greatly appreciate you bringing them with you to be placed on a memory board in her honor.
