Obituary of G. Calvin Williams

G. Calvin Williams, 90, of Lemont, died Sunday, November 14, 2021, at home.

Born May 27, 1931, in Lemont, he was the son of the late Thomas Guy and Elizabeth Hite Williams. On December 10, 1950, in Lemont, he married Dolores Warner, who survives.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Jay Williams and his wife Joy of Lemont, Kathy Dashem and her husband Delmer of Pleasant Gap, and Suzanne Stover and her husband Dennis of Spring Mills; a sister, Nancy Mills of VA; seven grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 6 siblings, Judy Van Tries, Robert Williams, Thomas Williams, Pauline Phelps, Beatrice Clouser, and Martha Lowery.

Calvin graduated from State College High School and worked as an Electrical Technician for Penn State University.

His hobbies included model trains, HAMM radio, reading and studying the Bible and he had a love for cats.
