Harry Samuel Corl, 93, of State College, died Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at Juniper Village At Brookline.

Born December 21, 1928, in Ferguson Township, he was the son of the late Clarence Leslie and Clara Margaret Witmer Corl. On August 30, 1950 he married Irene Lucille Houtz, who preceded him in death on February 20, 2017.

He is survived by two daughters, Carol J. Wawrzyniak of Kennett Square, and Leann C. Davinroy and her husband Timothy of Carlisle; and two grandchildren, J.B. Wawrzyniak and Zachary Davinroy.

Harry graduated from State College Area High School in 1946. He was a life-long farmer, and worked as a correctional officer at Rockview. Some of his happiest years were spent on the seat of a tractor, making hay or combining grain and corn. For many years, Harry and Irene enjoyed camping with friends and family at various state parks. They also enjoyed "snowbirding" in Florida and made many friends from both the US and Canada.

He was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ and was a fifty-plus year member of the Masonic Lodge.

Due to Covid, services will be private. Burial will be in the Pine Hall Cemetery.
