Obituary of Leonard J. DiGiacomo

Leonard J. DiGiacomo, known as Bud, 89, of Bellefonte, died Thursday, January 6, 2022, at Mount Nittany Medical Center.

Born December 17, 1932, in Williamstown, NJ, he was the son of the late James and Ottila DiGiacomo. On November 20, 1954 he married Anna Marie Gotti, who preceded him in death on November 9, 2005.

He is survived by two daughters, Theresa Ann Dare and her husband Ed of State College, and Karen Ann Hopkins and her husband Mark of Williamstown, NJ; one sister, Lurana Watts and her husband Wayne of Marlton, NJ; one grandson, Eric Dare and his wife Caitlin; four great-grandchildren, Reagan, Harper, Kevin and Kaiden; and his significant other of 15+ years, Janet L. Biviano. He was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Wilburn; and a grandson, Kevin Dare.

Bud graduated from Glassboro High School in 1951. He owned A&B Travel Trailers and Bud's Pizzeria, both in Williamstown, NJ.

Bud enjoyed hunting and was a member of the National Rifle Association. He also enjoyed RVing, watching Cowboy Western Movies, tinkering with metal and wood, and enjoying his family, especially his grandsons.

Services will be private.

Burial will be in Pine Hall Cemetery.
