To Dr Freiman's family. Mike was one of the first ENT teachers I had at the Naval Hospital. I used to love when he would come down to our hospital from Langley to do cases because he was such a good teacher. He was a lot of fun in the OR too. He spend a huge amount of time organizing an ENT inservice review for the residents. It had 20 sections each with so many objectives. Every year we would work on our "Frieman objectives" in prep for the big exam. I am proud to say that those objectives are a living document that grows each year as senior Navy ENT residents pass it along to their junior residents. I'm sad to say that I did not keep in touch with Dr Freiman. I hope your family can find peace knowing he was loved for being a great mentor and teacher to so many ENT doctors.
