Obituary of Alice Mae Green

Alice Mae Green, 89, of State College, passed away at Embassy of Hearthside. Born February 7, 1933, in Centre Hall. She was the daughter of the late Madeline Workman, and step-daughter of the late Richard Workman. On August 3, 1949 she married George W. Green who preceded her in death on January 26, 2003.

Alice went to the Bellefonte Area High School. She loved camping, reading, crafts, playing games, and spending time with family. She was a member of the State College Christian and Missionary Alliance Church.

She is survived by two daughters Roseanna Hazel (Robert), Sherry Ellenberger (Terry), one son Gary Green (Lois), one daughter-in-law Donna Green, two brothers Paul Lutz, David Workman (Sandra). Alice is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by two sons Charles Green and Kevin Green, one grandson Clayton Ellenberger, two sisters Geraldine Lucas (George), Mildred Rimmey (James), one brother George Lutz (Jean), and one sister-in-law Lois Lutz.

Alice was dearly loved and is now at peace in the arms of her Savior.

Visitation will be 9:30 until 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 23, 2022 at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton St., State College.

Funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home, with Reverend Clayton Kissling officiating.

Burial will be in Boalsburg Cemetery.
