Obituary of Jeanette Eileen Moscone

Jeanette Eileen "Jan" Moscone, 57, of Port Matilda, died Saturday, January 21, 2023, at home.

Born November 2, 1965, in Torrance, CA, she was the daughter of Kenneth James and Kathleen L. Cidiello Moscone, Sr., who survive.

Also surviving are three siblings, Katherine Noviskis and her husband, Brian, of Bartlett, IL, Susan Stout and her husband, Craig and Kenneth Moscone Jr. and his wife, Sheila, all of Port Matilda; many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Jeanette graduated from Acton-Boxborough Regional High School. She received an undergraduate degree and a Master's degree from Penn State University.

Her career started in hospitality working as the Director of Hospitality for Marriott Hotels in the Cayman Islands and Marco Island, Florida. She later transitioned to Human Resource Management for The Drucker Co. in Phillipsburg, where she worked from 1996 until retirement in 2016.

Jan was a board member for the Palmer House Museum where she planned and ran the annual charity balls for four years. Her passion was for travel, cruising and spending time with family and friends. She loved dancing and entertaining through lavish parties.

Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m., on Monday, January 30, 2023, at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton St., State College.

Funeral Service will be at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 867 Grays Woods Blvd., Port Matilda, with Father Jozef Kovacik officiating.

Memorial contributions in Jan's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 123 S. Sparks St. State College, PA 16801.
