Obituary of Josephine J. Zook Kuhn-Fuente

Josephine J. Zook Kuhn-Fuente, born June 26, 1932 in Belleville, died on April 20, 2023 at Mount Nittany Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Jesse Clarence and Ruth Rebecca Peachey Zook, also from Belleville. In 2006, she married Charles R. Fuente, Jr.

In addition to her husband, Josephine is survived by her daughter, Monique D. Kuhn. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Nicole Danielle Kuhn and two sisters, Geraldine and Maxine Zook DeHoff.

Josephine had a very happy childhood that she had documented through photographs and written memoirs. She loved to travel abroad with her daughter and husband, showing them her favorite travel destinations. She was a talented oil painter of her travels to Europe as well.

In her younger years at Belleville High School, she was involved with theatre, basketball, choir, and band.

Josephine was a true Bible believer and shared it with her daughter and husband.

There are too many wonderful things to write about her life and those who knew her knew she always had a smile to share.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 26, 2023 from 10 am to 12 pm at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton Street, State College. The funeral will follow at 12 pm with Reverend Dave Hersh officiating.

Burial will be at Centre County Memorial Park.
