Obituary of Yevgeniy Shmakov

Yevgeniy Petrovich Shmakov 22 a resident of PA Furnace died Friday May 4, 2012 at the Mount Nittany Medical Center. Born February 8, 1990 in Kazakhstan Taraz, son of Peter and Tatyana Shinova Shmakov who reside in PA Furnace. He is also survived by four sisters, Irina Safanov of Canton, NY, Nadia , Alina, and Natalia Shmakov and two brothers Aleks and Ilya Shmakov all of PA Furnace. Yevgeniy worked in construction and as a driver for PaPa Johns Pizza. He was a member of the Russian Baptist Church in State College where he was a member of the church choir, orchestra and participated in missionary trips to Kyrgyzstan and St. Petersburg, Russia. He was a member of Skills USA and was a talented musician playing many wind instruments. Yevgeniy had a passion for Christ and was very people friendly and was liked by all he met. Friends will be received at the Russian Baptist Church 3645 West College Avenue on Monday May 7, 2012 from 10 a.m. until 12 noon, the funeral service will follow in the church at 12 noon with Pastor Gregory Kronin officiating. Burial will be in the Graysville Cemetery.
