Obituary of Richard Brown

Richard Lee Brown, 68, of Port Matilda, died Monday, May 21, 2012 at his residence. Born September 24, 1943, in Stormstown, he was a son of the late William Albert and Ernestine Lytle Brown. He is survived by a son, Richard Lee Brown II and his wife, Lisa Marie, of Pa Furnace, two brothers, Ronald William Brown and his wife, Linda, of Stormstown, Gary Brown and his wife, Brenda, of Stormstown, his partner, Judy Kauffman, one grandchild, Matthew Lee Brown and numerous nieces and nephews. Richard was a 1961 graduate of State College Area High School. He was employed by Penn State University as a heavy equipment operator for 32 years retiring in February of 2004.. He was of protestant faith and was a member of the State College American Legion #245 and Teamsters Union Local #8. He was an avid hunter. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton St., State College. Burial will be in Grays Cemetery.
