Koch Funeral Home, Glenn Fleming, Breanne, Jay, Gary and the staff were exceptional with the viewing and funeral service for my Mother, Marian Nelson-Cole. My heartfelt thanks to all of you for making this time easier for me. You were all wonderful and I appreciate all you did for me.
~ Sharon M. Jodon
I was ten years old when my grandfather, Roy Barto passed away. Since then Koch Funeral Home has continued to care for three generations of my family. The staff has always gone over and above what was required and we truly appreciate their concern and understanding.
~ The Gauthier/Givler Family
Our family cannot say enough about the caring and compassionate manner that Koch Funeral Home showed us during Joe’s viewing and funeral. They exceeded expectations during a challenging and difficult time.
~ The Paterno Family
We made preneed arrangements for my mother Mildred Demko. The staff at Koch Funeral Home made it very easy for us during the process and made us feel very comfortable. Seeing my mother for the first time after her passing, she looked so much at peace and so very beautiful!
~ The Fausette Family
The Koch Funeral Home was instrumental in assisting my family with the arrangements for my father’s funeral service. Their care, concern and compassion eased the process through this difficult time. The service and professionalism provided by Glenn and his staff was excellent.
~ The Mackes Family
Empathy, cooperation, professionalism and attention to detail are some of the words that describe my experience with Koch Funeral Home. My family and I have experienced the loss of my husband and my mother within a short period of time. In Philadelphia we were merely clients and at Koch Funeral Home we were treated as family, which was a very comforting experience.
~ The Bonner Family
We were in State College for a short period of time to arrange a memorable service for the passing of my father. My husband and I were favorably impressed by the compassionate, timely and professional service afforded us. We have only the highest regard for Koch Funeral Home.
~ The Harman Family
Koch Funeral Home is a lovely facility and the Director and staff are genuine and caring people. We were impressed and grateful for the solace, courtesy, and professionalism of everyone at the Koch Funeral Home.

Glenn Fleming is one of the most positive, caring persons that I have encountered as a resident of State College. His warmth and genuineness combined with his quiet manner expresses his concern for others.
As a Kiwanian, Glenn has served for almost twenty years as the chairperson of the Holiday Basketball Tournament which is held each year between Christmas and New Year’s at the State College High School. His expertise in organizing this event with its many facets has always ensured a successful tournament for the high school teams that participate.
Recently, Glenn was honored with a Walter Zeller Medallion for his donation to the international project of Kiwanis-ELIMINATE. Working with UNICEF, Kiwanis chose this vaccination program to inoculate mothers and babies in a preventive measure against maternal/neonatal tetanus in countries where this disease is prevalent.
~ Kathryn T. Mackes, Kiwanis Club of State College
On behalf of the Pennsylvania Centre Orchestra I offer the heartiest congratulations to Koch Funeral Home and to Glenn Fleming as they reach this landmark celebration of 100 years of service to our community.
We are especially grateful for Koch's support for PCO's musical programs for young people in our schools and for our family concerts and for Glenn's service as adviser and President of PCO's Board for many years. His dedication to the musical arts in our community was recently recognized by PCO's Board of Directors through his election to the Amadeus Society for his support, dedication and enthusiasm for the musical arts in our community.
~Douglas Meyer, PCO Founding Conductor and Music Director
Glenn is a professional and his compassion for his business is memorable.
For the past 6 years I have been a member of the advisory board for the Salvation Army of Centre County. The motto of the Salvation Army is "doing the most good". The organization serves hundreds of Centre County families who are in need of financial assistance, back to school items, Christmas gifts, etc.
Koch Funeral Home and Glenn have been strong supporters for the annual Hope Endures Dinner which is one of the main fundraiser for the organization. Glenn and his wife Margie are very involved in the community and have attended the annual dinner on numerous occasions in an effort to support our organization in making a difference.
Happy 100th Anniversary to Koch Funeral Home and Glenn for their continued support and care in serving the Centre County Region both professionally and personally!
~Jack Heckendorn, Salvation Army of Centre County
Glenn Fleming daily lives out the philosophy of giving back to the community and Hubert Koch would be proud!
There are many lessons I learned by watching and listening to Glenn while we served together on the PCO board. Working with Glenn on fundraising for the orchestra and then on the Executive Committee while he was President of the PCO, I came to both respect and admire his dedication to making our community a better place to live for us all. I admired his quiet demeanor and his quick intelligence, his ability to listen to others with courtesy but to be undeterred from the essential issue of the problem under discussion, to act always with honor and integrity and not to be swayed by expediency. At this, the 100th anniversary of the Koch Funeral Home, I wish to thank Glenn Fleming for his dedication to his business and his community. I wish both him and the Koch Funeral Home many more years of service.
~Patricia Stutzman-Roeber, Pennsylvania Centre Orchestra
Glenn Fleming has been a long-time supporter of State High and many of the high school programs. Each year Koch Funeral Home gives a generous financial donation, with other parents and alumni, to help keep over 500 teenagers safe at the After-Prom All Night Party.
As a local businessman, Glenn knows how important it is to give to local events.
~ Joy Vincent-Killian, Chair Fundraising State High ANP 2013
We want to congratulate Koch Funeral Home on their 100th anniversary of providing dedicated service to the Centre Region. This year, Koch Funeral Home is also celebrating their 40th anniversary as a valued member of the Chamber of Business & Industry of Centre County. Their support of the Centre Region and the CBICC is greatly appreciated!
~ Jean Gerber-CBICC, V.P. Chamber of Operations
It has been said that if you love what you do, you never work a day in your life. One of Glenn Fleming’s traits is that he loves what he does and takes great pride in being a member of the funeral profession. He is a tireless advocate for funeral service. He has been an active and dedicated contributor to both the Central Pennsylvania Local Chapter as well as the Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association.
Glenn served as District Governor for PFDA from 2003 to 2010 and was recently installed as the 132nd President. As such, he will lead the largest and oldest state funeral association in the country with over 3,000 members statewide. We look forward to his calm and reasoned approach to challenges and celebrate his stature and leadership qualities.
~Kathy Ryan-PFDA, General Counsel & Chief Operating Officer
