For this last Monday in January, we’ll look at the third H in our theme, hush. Last month I shared thoughts about silence. But hush is about more than being silent, it is also about listening. One way mourners move their grief from the inside to the outside is by talking and being heard. In order to do that, they need someone to listen. As Rachel Naomi Remen said, “Our listening creates a sanctuary for the homeless parts within another person.”Hush and listen.
