Born April 5, 2007, in Tokmok, Kyrgyzstan, he was the son of David Cubanski and Nita Warstler, and brother of Rustam Cubanski, of State College.

He is also survived by his Grandparents Joe and Ceil Cubanski of Connecticut, Aunts and Uncles Anne Thomas, Scott and Patti Warstler, and Lorie and John Badman, all of Indiana, and Douglas and Maggie Cubanski, of Colorado, and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his Grandparents Clyde and Carol Warstler of Indiana.

He was a 9th grade student at State College Area High School.

Anarbek loved people, music, singing and dancing. He loved riding his bike through his school hallways. He loved spending time with his extended family and special friends including many adults and students from his school career.

Visitation will be from 3:00-4:00 PM on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Mount Nittany Middle School, 656 Brandywine Drive, State College. A memorial service at the school, led by Celebrant Jackie Naginey Hook, will follow at 4:00 PM, followed by a more informal period of fellowship and celebration of Anarbek's life, also at the school.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to www.actofkindness.asia (a mission serving orphans in Kyrgyzstan with whom the Cubanskis have had the privilege of interacting) or to the Janet Weis Children's Hospital (via www.geisinger.org/about-geisinger/geisinger-foundation) where Anarbek received excellent, kind, and respectful care during his final days.

Arrangements are under the care of Koch Funeral Home of State College. Online condolences may be entered at www.kochfuneralhome.com, or visit us on Facebook.
