The second H in this month’s theme is for hang around. In other words, when someone is grieving, hang around and be present to them. Your presence is a present. I heard the story of a woman who was asked how she survived the death of someone close. Her response was, “A pinky saved me.” While on her grief journey, she and a friend went for walks together touching pinkies. The friend’s simple presence and hanging around helped this woman heal.
