This month our theme is “Searching for Meaning.” I don’t know why, but I naturally search for meaning in most everything. When our previous home’s address was our daughter’s birth date, or when my grief companioning journey resulted from the losses in my own life, I appreciated the meaning in these things. In terms of loss, finding meaning doesn’t make grief go away, but it can help carry us along and help us heal. And like grief, meaning is as unique as our fingerprints - we can find it in all kinds of ways.
