Obituary of Daphne D. Hoffman

Daphne D. Hoffman, 74 of State College, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2016. She was born on September 21, 1941, in Williamsport, PA. She was the daughter of the late Leslie and Mary Edna Wilfong Dills. Daphne was loved by her three children, Jason Hoffman and his wife, Melanie; Gretchen Sylvester and her husband, Michael; Joshua Hoffman and his wife Kim. She was also blessed with seven grandchildren, Lauren, Sean, Skyler, Dakota, Emily, Sarah and Haley. Daphne was a 1959 graduate of State College Area High School. She retired from the Food and Housing Department at Penn State University. She was a member of the North Club Silver Sneakers where she was an avid spinning enthusiast. Her hobbies were modern dance, painting, gardening, and a dedicated yard sale shopper. Memorial contributions can be made to the SPCA.
