Obituary of Titus Philip Kanagy

Titus Philip Kanagy, 84, of PA Furnace, died Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at home. Born September 18, 1931, in Belleville, he was the son of the late Phios and Mary Yoder Kanagy. In 1953 he married Rose Marie Richardson, who preceded him in death in 1988. He is survived by two sons, Paul Lewis Kanagy of PA Furnace and Philip Clinton Kanagy and his wife, Emily, of Seattle, WA; a sister, Susan King of Belleville; two grandchildren, Jason Kanagy and Laurie Hargrow and two great-grandchildren, Jewels and Cohen. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, David King. Titus was a graduate of the Belleville Mennonite School. He served in the Army National Guard. Titus was a cement truck driver. He was a member of the Teamster Union. Titus enjoyed hunting, fishing and bird watching. A graveside service will be held at 9 a.m., on Friday, June 3, 2016 at Graysville Cemetery, Graysville Cemetery Road, Spruce Creek Township.
