Obituary of Ardath Miller

Ardath L. Miller, 93, of State College, died Sunday, August 28, 2011, at The Fairways at Brookline Village. Born February 18, 1918, in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Arthur J. and Alma Schroder Schneider. On Sept. 27, 1941, she married Robert C. Miller, who died Dec. 26, 2004. She is also survived by two sons, James H. Miller and his wife, Marianne of Lewes, Del., and Steven R. Miller and his wife, Jane, of Bryan, Ohio; four grandchildren, Bradford, Reed, Ryan and Derek Miller; and two great-grandchildren, Charles and Elizabeth Miller. In addition to her husband and her parents, she was predeceased by a son, John L. Miller. Ardath was a teacher for the Cincinnati and the Norwood, Ohio, School Districts. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Cincinnati. Her funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 3, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 7701 Kenwood Road, Cincinnati, with the Rev. Patricia Badkey officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park, Cincinnati.
