Obituary of Margaret Rose Kaleita

Maggie Rose Kaleita, 30, of State College, PA, passed away on Friday, July 6, 2018 at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. Maggie was born in State College, PA to Brian and Margaret Kaleita on December 27, 1987. She graduated from Grace Prep High School in State College in 2006 and earned a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Penn State University. She worked in insurance and was very successful as a sales agent. Maggie loved music, bubbles, traveling, and having adventures with her many beloved friends. She was brilliant, generous, forgiving, gorgeous, and authentic. She had a bit of a subversive sense of humor and always did what she wanted. She will be deeply missed by the many people whose lives she touched. Maggie is survived by her fiancé, Kevin Todd and his children, Violeta and Skyler; her best friends, Christie Weidhaas and Lauren Bala; her mother, Margo, all of State College; sister, Amy Forbes and husband, Greg Forbes, of Ames, IA; sister, Susan Kaleita and husband, John Moeller, of Tucson, AZ; and two nieces, Celia and Lilah Forbes. She is preceded in death by her dear father, Brian. A memorial service will be held at Grace Prep High School at 848 Science Park Rd., State College on Monday, July 16, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. There will be bubbles. Memorial donations may be made in Maggie's name to the American Cancer Society AstraZeneca Hope Lodge, 110 W. Laurel Ave., Cheltenham, PA 19012. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Dr. Arthur Staddon, Laetitia Simeral, NP, and the whole team of caregivers at Pennsylvania Hospital.
