Obituary of Betty Leslie

Betty L. Leslie, 80 of State College, formerly of Pine Grove Mills, died Wednesday, November 16, 2011, at the Hearthside Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, State College. Born July 4, 1931, in Boalsburg, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Nannie Moore Ripka. She married Clarence Leslie on December 12, 1953, who preceded her in death on September 9, 1999. She is survived by two step-children, Ronald Leslie, of Palm Beach, FL and Carol Ann Filigoria, of Melbourne, FL. She is also survived by a sister, Patsy Weaver, of Lake City, FL, a niece, Bonnie Brown, of Centre Hall and a nephew, Earl Ripka, of State College, PA. Betty along with her husband when he was living owned and managed Endora Floors, a Floor and Tile Company in Pine Grove Mills. She enjoyed gardening. Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 21, 2011 at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton St., State College with the Rev. Robert Rohrbaugh officiating. Interment will be at Centre County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, South Central PA Chapter at 3544 North Progress Avenue, Suite 205, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
