Obituary of Bella Jane Gummo

Bella Jane Gummo, 90, of Bellefonte, formerly of Pennsylvania Furnace, died Friday, December 4, 2020, at Centre Crest.

Born April 25, 1930, in Bellefonte, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Roxie Tressler Stover. On September 30, 1946, in State College, she married Roy David Gummo, who survives.

In addition to her husband, Bella is survived by three children and their families, daughter Judy M. Colpetzer of Pennsylvania Furnace, granddaughters Tonia (Brian) Houck, Tina Colpetzer and great-granddaughter Hailey Houck, son, David R. Gummo and his wife Betty of State College, granddaughter Julie (James) Nichols, grandson Christopher (Alex Ganim) Gummo, great-granddaughters Keira and Lauren Nichols and great-grandson Foster Gummo and son, Ronald A. Gummo of Centre Hall and grandsons Shane Gummo and Nathan Gummo and great-granddaughter Kaleigh Gummo; two sisters, Helen Poorman of Houserville, and Nellie Witmer of Bellefonte and sister-in-law Faye Stover of Pleasant Gap.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Eugene Stover and Elwood Stover, one sister, Rosella Day and son-in-law Wayne Colpetzer.

Bella was a member of Bethel Church of the Nazarene, Boalsburg. She enjoyed antiquing, outdoor gardening and indoor flower arranging.

Private graveside service will be at Graysville Cemetery.
