Obituary of Charles S. Labor

Charles S. "Chuck" Labor, 79, of State College, died Monday, December 14, 2020, at home.

Born November 17, 1941, in Westmoreland City, he was the son of the late Steve and Angeline Zucco Labor. On June 12, 1964 he married Joyce Cooper, who survives.

In addition to his wife, Chuck is survived by two children, Chris C. Labor of Flagler Beach, FL, and Lori L. Corl and her husband Douglas of Reliance, TN; one brother, James Labor of Daytona Beach, FL; one granddaughter, Ashley Burrell of DeLand, FL; and one great-grandson, Jace.

Chuck graduated from Penn State University in 1964 with an associate's degree in electrical engineering. He worked for 28 years at HRB/Singer Raytheon before retiring as data manager in 1992. Chuck was of the Methodist faith. He enjoyed motorcycle riding, amateur radio, bicycling, and kite flying.

Visitation and funeral service will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Burial will be in Grays Cemetery.
