Obituary of James Keith Stidworthy

James K. Stidworthy, 71, of Howard, Pennsylvania, died April 12, 2021 peacefully at home. Born in Hackettstown, NJ, he was the son of Keith and Julia Andiorio Stidworthy. He is survived by two children, Emily Navin and her husband Mike of St. Louis, MO and Alison Stidworthy and her husband Matt Beese of Clarskboro, NJ; two grandchildren, Jack and Laura of St. Louis, MO; and three step-children, Bridget, Henry, and Tristan of Clarksboro, NJ. James is also survived by his brothers, Gary, Tom, and Jeff Stidworthy, of Bernardsville, NJ. He was preceded in death by his parents. Jim was a graduate of Bernards High School and the American Conservatory of Music majoring in French Horn. He worked for Lowe's in State College for the last eight years. His early profession was as a music teacher. He enjoyed hiking and camping with his family, playing flute, model airplanes and trains, bluegrass music, taking sailplane rides, and driving his Miada. Receiving of Friends will be held Monday, April 19, 2021 from 4-6 pm at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton St., State College. A private funeral service will be held in Bernardsville, NJ, over the summer. Arrangements are under the care of Koch Funeral Home, State College.
