She earned her RN diploma from Bryn Mawr Hospital School of Nursing in 1968, her BSN degree in nursing from Penn State University in 1986, and her MSN degree in nursing from Villanova University in 1991. She was very proud to work as a nursing administrator.
She was of the Episcopalian faith.
She loved nursing and mentored many nurses in their development. Sharon was unpretentious and principled. She took joy in her two sons and grandchildren. She loved flowers, music, math, cooking, needlepoint, and a good bourbon with a novel always at her side.
Her life was devoted to love, caring and giving. Many are blessed to have been part of her life for many decades.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
