Obituary of Marie Dallery

Marie Dallery, 92, of State College, died Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Mount Nittany Medical Center.

Born January 11, 1930, in Plymouth, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Hannah Davis Reinholt. On December 29, 1951, she married Robert Henry Dallery, who preceded her in death on November 13, 2008.

She is survived by two daughters, Lynn Canesso and her husband Anthony of Cape May, NJ, and Sharon Shurgalla and her husband Richard of State College; one sister, Reba Fohrenck of Marlton, NJ; two grandchildren, Ryan and Stephen Shurgalla; and two great-grandchildren, Finn and Ferris Shurgalla. She was preceded in death by her grandson Robert Oesterle.

Marie attended business school and worked as a secretary for Scibal Associates and LabCorp.

She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, State College, and Church of the Advent, Cape May, NJ.

Marie was active at the senior center of Centre County, loved to bake, knit, do crafts and enjoy her family and friends. She was a loving mother and a friend to many.

Burial will be at the Church of the Advent in Cape May, NJ.
