Anaida Manukyan

In Loving Memory of Anaida ("Anya") Bunyatov Manukyan

Anaida Bunyatov Manukyan, a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and an accomplished dentist, departed from this world on June 27, 2023, in State College, Pennsylvania. Born to Bunyat and Astrik Bunyatov in the vibrant city of Baku, Azerbaijan, on December 8, 1942, Anya's life was marked especially by her love for, and service to, her family and friends. Anya spent the formative years of her life in Baku, where she honed her studies and developed skills and passion as a dentist. Her commitment to providing exceptional dental care was known throughout the community in Baku, and her patients admired her gentle touch and warm demeanor. In 1991, seeking new opportunities and embracing the spirit of adventure, Anya made the bold decision to relocate to State College, Pennsylvania, where cousins and members of her extended family were living. Anya's heart always belonged to her cherished family and friends. During her time in State College, her dedication and love for her friends and family built a legacy of love and kindness that will forever be treasured by those who knew her. Anya is survived by her three brothers: Albert Bunyatov of Moscow, Russia, Konstantin Bunyatov of Jacksonville, Florida, and Vladimir Bunyatov of Seattle, Washington. Through the highs and lows of life, Anya's brothers provided her with unwavering support and shared in her triumphs and challenges. Their bond was unbreakable, and the memories they created together will forever hold a special place in their hearts. Anya was preceded in death by her dear brother, Sergei, who resided alongside her in State College, Pennsylvania. Their close relationship brought immeasurable joy to both of their lives, and Sergei's passing deeply impacted Anya. They shared countless memories and experiences, and their connection transcended the bounds of siblinghood. Anya Bunyatov Manukyan will be remembered for her kind heart, unwavering dedication, and the countless lives she touched through her work as a dentist and as a family member and friend who was always eager to help her loved ones. Her gentle nature and genuine care for others were evident in every aspect of her life, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. As we bid farewell to Anya, let us take solace in the memories we shared with her and carry forward her legacy of compassion, resilience, and love. May she rest in eternal peace, reunited with her loved ones who have gone before her. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm, Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S.
